At Opium.systems, we love innovation, and sometimes we even \u201ewe will cook<\/em>\u201cOne of our most unique activities, which we recently carried out at the Slovak Savings Bank business conference, BIKOSS 2025, is cooking show<\/strong> \u201eHow to Design a Digital Workflow<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did we actually do the cooking show?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During typical digitization training sessions or workshops, the human experience is often missing \u2013 processes, workflow mapping, and automation are fine, but they aren't always memorable. We decided: What if, besides the boring theory, we showed the audience a show?<\/strong> What if digitalization \u201eWe'll cook up<\/em>\u201c...like food that is cooked and then tasted live on stage in front of an audience?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how our pilot proposal was created: interactive event<\/strong>, where Mat\u00fa\u0161 and Samo (two developers) turned office order and Microsoft 365 tools into a kitchen template. The result? Participants truly enjoyed ramen<\/strong>, talked about workflows in companies and at the same time learned, How to streamline processes in your company.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did the entire cooking show go?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Ingredients of your digital ramen<\/strong>
    Instead of paste, we introduced tools like Teams or SharePoint. We showed which ones\u201eingredients<\/em>\u201cIt's worth having company workflows in your pot and knowing how to dose them correctly. We know that some company processes tend to get tangled. But if you know the right way to handle them, you can manage them elegantly and the processes will suddenly hold together \u2013 like noodles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      During the ramen cooking on stage in front of the audience, a shared ramen meal followed, along with discussions, exchange of experiences, and networking. In a relaxed atmosphere, new ideas emerged, and people even happily shared their own \u201erecipes<\/em>\u201cfor corporate processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      What did we achieve with our cooking show?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      We managed to fill the Visa stage and also connect the experience with education in a fun way. The cooking show wasn't just theoretical talk<\/strong>, for instance, in processes \u201ethey have to do\u201c<\/em>, but we also engaged participants with practical guidance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Solving a workflow with a workshop is nice... but when you cook at the same time, you also create a concrete experience that you'll remember. It's not just about the show<\/strong>, because every process we demonstrated is fully applicable in practice<\/strong>. After the cooking show ends, companies can implement workflows that we not only explained to them but also practically \u201eboiled<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      And what will happen with the cooking show next?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Following the success of the pilot show, we've decided to turn this cooking lecture into a full-fledged product. We offer businesses \u201eHow to Create a Digital Workflow\u201c<\/em> if team-building<\/strong>, or experiential training<\/strong> or workshop<\/strong>. We can come directly to you, bring components, ingredients (not just culinary ones), and transform an ordinary day in the office into unique experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The solution is based on tools that most companies are likely already using: Microsoft 365.<\/strong> No exotic technology is required \u2013 just creativity, openness, and taste buds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
